The Hawaii Surfing Art form
Stand up Paddle Surfing with local water man Alex Murray of the Doom Bar Surf School. As Accomplished surf coach and Beach Lifeguard, Alex has been surfing along this section of coast for the past thirty years. Stand up paddle surfing uses an over sized surf board and an extended single paddle to move across the water. The elevated position enables you to see further. Using the ultimate equipment for all conditions, you can paddle on the flat water exploring secret caves and secluded coves, Surf small peeling waves or take on large heavy waves.
Beginner Session - £30 (Maximum Group size of 5)
Two Hour Starter Session will take you through basic moves on flat water. You will be issued wetsuits, board, paddle , safety brief and location brief, head to launch site - normally camel estuary, familiarization time in sheltered waters with basic stroke instruction then out to start the adventure taking in caves, coves and sea life.
Intermediate Session - £35 (Maximum Group size of 3)
Two Hour Intermediate Lessons move into the waves of Daymar Bay, Polzeath and the infamous Doom Bar (conditions depending). Learn the art of riding waves and surf paddling.
1-2-1 Session - Please call for more details
1-2-1 coaching sessions can be arranged for beginners or experienced surfers wanting to develop their wave riding skills. 1 to 1 is the best way to learn, we will tailor the course to your needs. 1 to 1 allows you to go at your own speed, no need to feel held back in group situations or hold others back.
