2 Day Advanced Mountain First Aid - £100 Per Person

The Advanced First Aid course is a specialist first aid course, which is relevant to all involved in extreme activities and sports. It teaches how to treat relevant sports injuries and resuscitate sportsmen and women who are knocked unconscious whilst in action.

You will learn the core skills required to deal with life threatening illnesses and injuries. In addition the course covers the initial treatment of common sports injuries including soft tissue, head, neck and spinal injuries, there is also an element of Paediatric Basic Life Support. 

We can customize the course to suit all requirements no matter what the working environment for all your training needs. This course also includes training in Oxygen, Basic drug administration, AED (Defibrillator), Spinal, Fracture and Airway management, for those needing a more comprehensive package. During the second day students apply their training to the environment they work in and are given likely Emergency scenarios the may face in their fields. Finally candidates are to complete an exam on everything they have learnt and practised during second day.

The HSE Emergency First Aid at Work course is run over the first day, with approximately 6 – 7 hrs contact time. 

Advanced Medical training is run over a second day and has a more hands on approach with likely scenarios set in your particular environment.

1 Day HSE EFAW is valid for three years.

Additional Advanced training modules on second day are valid for one year.

Candidates will receive both certificates.

  • Payment: We currently accept cheques & most major credit or debit cards. Card payments must be made over the telephone. Please make all cheques payable to Era-Adventures.
  • 50% of the fee must be made at the time of booking with the final 50% payment made by the start of course.
  • Course fees are inclusive of course materials, assessment fees. It does not cover beverages or lunches.
  • Cancellation: On booking your course you will be required to pay a 50% DEPOSIT, which is non-refundable on cancellation.
